So, here I am, considering moving to a brand new style of photography. And, by considering, I mean that I’ve already begun to invest. I’ve taken my first lessons in 360 degree content creation, and I have talked to friends who are very well-versed in the subject. I have heard nothing but good things about this technology, and I don’t think that learning some skills and it will harm me or this blog even in the slightest.
I’m not going to turn this into a technology blog or anything like that, I’m going to keep writing about these important things to me which I have always written about, that is what is most important to me. But, I do think it is important that we explore these same topics, and tell these stories, with new forms that can tell them in refreshing ways. I think that is the most organic and direct way that this blog can grow into something bigger and better than it already is. I love this blog, and I love writing for you more than almost anything in the world.
It fills my heart with joy to know that I can come up with words and that you will read them in that, together, we have this special unifying thread of communication. That is priceless to me. And that’s why I have invested in this 360 camera, because I think that it can help me clarify what I am trying to express in totally neat and unique ways that are super authentic and don’t it all distract. I don’t think it’s a gimmick. I think it is a tool to help me tell the truth with more accuracy in an Innovative way that will keep me relevant as time goes on. I truly believe that eventually all photos will have to move or be movable and some way. No longer will the next Generations be interested in something that stays flat and stagnant constantly. Eventually, this will be known as absurd because the technology has surpassed it, and this technology is becoming widely, widely available.
